What is Timelines?

A military timeline allows visitors to view several different war-time eras in one location. The benefit of having a program encompassing over two hundred years of history in one place is that it allows visitors to not only get a sense of military technological and uniform changes from war to war, but to also understand how the changing world impacted the ways in which wars were fought. Visitors can visibly see how modern life was influenced by a nation at war, including  the transfer of military technology to civilian application, along with emerging social and cultural impacts of war through our artifact displays.

What We Do:

Our Timelines impression includes reenactors with interactive displays, artifacts, and accurate uniforms/clothing from the Revolutionary War, Civil War, World War I, & World War II.

We have both U.S. and Foreign impressions, including German World War I, Russian World War II, and U.S. Paratroopers, among several others.

We also provide civilian impressions in these eras, in which our non-combatants display home-front stories, clothing, and living history for a well-rounded educational experience.

We offer several options for our Timelines impression from a military timeline to fashion shows showcasing the different uniforms and civilian clothes affected by wartime issues. We can also send individuals or pairings of reenactors to do smaller lectures for history organizations, classroom presentations, or to add a particular historical emphasis to a specific program.

As an extension of our focus on community education, we have created the opportunity for other historical eras to be represented under the 2d New Jersey Brigade organization. We are looking to recruit Revolutionary War, World War I, and World War II reenactors for our Timelines Impression.

We give you the flexibility to showcase multiple impressions at some of our events, as well as providing insurance coverage through your membership.
